Study Scholars
A plan for in-person study coaching at university, with a written report to parents every Friday.
Concept: a launch plan and a pitch brief, written July 2026.
6 of 17 hard questions found a real gap in the plan; each was fixed the same day

What I made
I wrote the launch pack: strategy, operations, the coach program, marketing, legal templates, risks and a launch plan, backed by three research digests. Then I built a one-page pitch brief.
- Session10 min plan, 40 min side by side, 10 min wrap
- Coach log90 seconds, at the end of every session
- Student previewthe student sees the report first
- Founder reviewI read every report before it goes out
- Friday reportattendance, work done and a coach's note
10documents in the launch pack
71unique sources cited in the research
39failure modes catalogued, each with a mitigation
What came out of it
The pitch brief
A one-page brief for the friends who read the plan first, with pricing and names removed here. Its session section, above, shows the three parts every session would have.
The stress test
I put 17 hard questions to the finished plan, the way a sceptical friend would. Seven were already answered, and four stay open, each with a gate.
The 17 adversarial questions, by what each one found
Exposed a real gap, fixed the same day: The Q&A names each fix beside the question that found it.
| Label | Value |

| Exposed a real gap, fixed the same day | 6 |
| Already answered by design | 7 |
| Left open, with a named gate | 4 |
Where it's going
The full version is a small, capped coaching service at one campus: student coaches at the same library table several times a week, and a Friday report the student sees first.
- NowPlan and briefThe launch pack and pitch brief, written and stress-tested.
- Coach log and reportsThe first software: a coach log and the Friday report engine.
